Following most reviews, wanted to have our first fish and chips on our Scottish holiday here. Very bright restaurant, ee had friendly staff, quick service and nice view on the sea and ferries. Fish was excellent but the so heralded home made tartar sauce came i such a small quantity! And could not really taste it as tartar sauce. Am also not a favourite of these chunk type fries. All by all a decent meal.

After arriving in Oban & having had a hellish days travel, we stopped for a quick bite to eat. Luckily we found the Oban Bay Fish Bar...what a stroke of luck that was. An absolutely perfect fish tea & a superb seafood pizza, soon had us forgetting about the massive traffic inspired delays that ensured we were thoroughly later than planned. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean & well presented, the menu was able to cater to most tastes & the cost was surprisingly reasonable. It certainly isn't a restaurant that seeks to over-charge based on its position within a busy tourist zone. The staff were helpful & polite. All in all, it is a restaurant that I will definitely recommend & that I will frequently return to, each occasion that I am in town. Great little place & very idyllically situated. Go visit 👌

Very expensive for a roll and chips ,no butter supermarket multi pack roll and a hand full of chips .coffee not great also

Ordered the mussels in white wine and cream, haddock 'n chips, and poached salmon. Excellent food! Friendly and helpful wait staff (helped for a while during their busy dinner hours to locate a shop that sells wine - bring your own wine or beer - they provide glasses!) Extras: nice view over the harbor I will recommend this place to friends and family!
