This is my favourite shop - not just in London, but anywhere! Toby, George, and James are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The shop offers a brilliant range of antiques, toy soldiers, and memorabilia. If you have even only one day in London, I strongly encourage you to visit The Armoury!
As a young boy, we’d visit Canada - Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Hamilton, etc. and my dad would buy me a box of 6 British palace guard soldiers by Britains. My first visit to London, seeing the real live military guards, I thought of my childhood and had to buy a set. Went to The Armoury of St James and got exactly what I was looking for. Representative was excellent. Very cool place. I signed up for mail list and will be buying from them in the future.
Absolutely lovely shop with lovely staff, amazing amount of Militaria and antiques inside, focusing mainly on the Napoleonic Era, British Army and Royal memorabilia. Located in the Piccadilly Arcade in St James’s, the place is absolutely worth a visit when in the area. The gentleman inside was very helpful and friendly and for history lovers the place is a dream to just look around!
This store is very nice. An excellent collection of figures and antiques. All very tidy. The owners are quite friendly. This is an excellent choice for anyone interested in military figurines and other similar things.
A one-of-a-kind shop specializing in antique military, monarchical, colonial artifacts and toy soldiers. Really a special place that’s worth the visit if this is of interest to you. Helpful and professional staff. Online retail cannot beat the experience of visiting places such as the Armoury of St James. Picked up a nice set of colour guard soldiers. Fully endorsed.
Amazing place. Needless to say. I have bought a little William Shakespeare from Tradition of London, great quality for a great price. They sell anything war related, from badges to toy soldiers, from helmets to statues. All of that, in a pretty small shop. Worth it!
