Really nice time here for a late lunch; pies are tops and not to be missed. Service was friendly and the rooftop terrace was quite pleasant.Food: 5/5
Thank you Anthony for a very heartwarming customer service, as well as Pedro and George. Really nice downtown pub with a terrace. Food: 5/5
A cosy bolt hole for truly great pub food and a gentle relaxed atmosphere. Lots of options for food and drinks both, reasonably priced with warm service. Different offers each day of the week- pizza and burgers both great. Felt comfortable taking the kids in. Lots of seating arrangements. Toilets downstairs and so unsure about accessibility.
What a find this place was on our recent trip to London. The staff here are lovely - great communication before we arrived, very accommodating when we were there, pleasant, friendly and humorous! Special thanks to Miguel for looking after us so well. Found the gammon a little tough, but the pizza and small plates were great. We’ll return if we can!
Real genuine pub feel in the heart of London. Three levels, with a balcony upstairs, Pub on main, and "Gin Vault" in the basement.Food: 5/5
My friend and I visited last night on the lovely roof terrace. Pedro in particular was so friendly and welcoming. He was so helpful from the off, it was a busy evening as the sun was blazing and he moved chairs around to make sure we had a spot and then made sure we got the first available table. Pedro and Esther really gave us amazing service that we haven't experienced in a long time - especially in central London! We'll certainly be back soon
Attended a work event here. The space we were allocated on the first floor was so loud that somebody's Apple watch was giving a hearing loss warning. Bar staff were pretty rude, even shoving customers aside to get by. The outside balcony is quite nice but honestly I don't want to go back here.Service: 2/5
I like this place but not so much the staff. When I visited there were only 10 customers or so and 2 staff and they weren't busy but it was almost impossible to get their attention without verbally calling them for service. I sat outside which was nice to watch the hustle amd bustle of the street. The pub is very clean and well appointed making it feel like a place Id come back to but for me the staff are nearly more important than the surroundings as they make or break the experiemce for me. I imagine it does get busy in the evening and wonder how they mamage then. Ill be back and see if we can bring the rating up some more..
A Cask Marque pub in Holborn. First visit for Madge and I. Nice St Austell Tribute. Not the most historic or characterful pub but pleasant stop off. Big room downstairs. A midweek city pub.
Poor selection of gin & wine, so great for a beer session with the lads, but won't take my wife there again. Glasses also had dry water marks all over. No care or attention from bar staff, at lunch time anyway. Sorry I could not rate more highly as the location and ambiance could be great. Its better in warmer weather when the outside terrace is open, but drink choice is still poor.
