The Almighty Cod

Take away food quality great but the service is very poor. 5 customers in takeaway waiting to be served one girl serving. There were another 5 staff behind the counter, not one of them came to the front to serve a customer. Gives perception of taking customers for granted.

The fish and chips were delicious with good service from the staff. We did have to queue to get in but worth the wait. Good value for money too.

Good value for money, we had the Almighty Cod, chips, curry sauce, bread & butter and coffee for under £8.00. But be warned it is a big portion! The interior was warm and welcoming and the staff were very helpful, can get very busy.

For the years we have been going to Seaton Carew I have never had an issue with this place, It is always packed. The food is amazing, The service is great and I have always liked this chippy. The prices are good and it is family friendly. The only thing I would like to add is If you want a proper sea side fish and chips meal be prepared to wait. For the good food this place has been producing I am awarding 5 stars.
