Enjoyed our meal recently and the service was good. However there was only one staff member who was friendly and welcoming and did his job very well. A young lad helping out and presumably learning looked utterly bored to death and made no effort to appear enthusiastic or look as if he was doing something which we found amusing but gave a bit of a negative vibe. Overall a good experience but a bit more positive interaction with all customers not just your regulars would be good. We will be back to rate you next time.

Only visited this Italian once and have to say what a pleasant experience, food was tasty and the staff where very welcoming and friendly. would highly recommend to others.

Had a very pleasant lunch with my lovely middle daughter Victoria Sheader. Tasty food, friendly staff and a good location. What's not to like?

My family and I regularly visit matteo's. We love the food, service and atmosphere. It's warm and welcoming and always greeted with a smile. The staff are fantastic with my young children and to top it off the food is fresh, well presented and tastes amazing. We highly recommend matteo's.

We have just had a family get together at Matteos. We were a party of 26. The food and service could not be faulted. Staff extremely friendly and food delicious! We are looking forward to our next visit!! Well done Matteos. Pam Hugill, Suffolk
