Lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Vintage era so well done. Pop in if you're in Seaton Carew, or just go there for a change. Afternoon tea looks delicious BTW.

Lovely tea room, excellent food - delicious chips (very much lived up to the hype), home made coleslaw. Just the right size portion, just a pity I didn't have room for a knickerbocker glory. Staff excellent - I'll be back

Went for lunch with my mother today and the waitress made a mistake with my mother's order, she ordered corned beef pie and because you didn't have any left you made her a steak pie without asking if she preferred anything else but my mother hates steak and was repulsed. I finished my meal and my mother still had to wait another 15 minutes extra totalling a 40 minute wait for her food which I think is unsatisfactory. When we went to pay we weren't offered any compensation so we asked if we could have something knocked off for the inconvenience and we're told very nastily, no, it wasn't her fault it was the chefs as he didn't realise corned beef pie was on the menu which I find hard to believe. My point is you can't just give someone a meal they didn't order without informing them of the change or offering an alternative, what if my mother was allergic to something. Anyway, disgracefull customer care in my opinion, a little bit of understanding would have went a long way with my mother and I suspect other customers. You have now lost me and my mother's custom and I won't be recommending you to others.

WE visited today and had a lovely surprise, the tea rooms are a real blast from the past, Glen Miller etc playing the ladies dressed in 40's style, excellent food and the memorabilia was fascinating, spotlessly clean and real tea in china cups. PERFIK :)
