We booked for Christmas dinner 2024 at The Stag & Monkey and we couldn't be happier. The food was so good, the staff were incredible. They were attentive and so welcoming. The atmosphere was just perfect. My family and I had the most wonderful time. For the first time in a long time, I was able to actually enjoy spending time with my family instead of being in the kitchen and cooking. Thank you so much to all the team for going above and beyond. Highly recommend
Excellent experience and great value for money on Christmas day. Food was very fast but didn't lack in quality as a result. Service from the staff was excellent but not overbearing, just right. Sam was lovely with us and the rest of the team working the Christmas shift too, not a bad word to say against them
We came straight from xmas shopping hoping for a quiet stress free meal and a couple of drinks, we couldn't of been happier , we got parked straight away , seated immediately and got comfortable.nI ordered our drinks and starter/meal by app and within minutes our drinks were on out table , 3 minutes later our starter was served .nWe just finished our starter when our plate filled piping hot mains were served . The food was more than enough for each person and was beautiful.nThe place was very clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We had an excellent experience.nIt was our first time here and we will be back.

This place is fine if you want a cheap meal, I.e microwaved lasagne and smash for your mash. My salad looked like it had been there 2 days. Cheapest patties they could find for a burger too, but if you're wanting to watch football and snack then this place is great for your family!nTrying to eat food and speak to family is next to impossible whilst there is a football match on! Instead of having football on in one half of the room, they have it on where dinner is set. People screaming as you eat your food.
