Wonderful Sunday roasts. Tasty and generous portions. It was the perfect place to had lunch on cold, drizzly afternoon.

Had Sunday roast. Turkey was good and juicy. Trimmings were just OK. Staff really friendly. I would go back.

As it goes, Abbot Cook is a pretty nice pub to go to, being near the student area of Reading. Good place to go for a few drinks, and even a few board games to play with when you get bored! Decent range of beers and ciders too

A pub with generous seating .comfy sofas and eclectic  chairs. A good menu of food at a good price.

Tepid, overcooked food. Roast vegetables more cremated than roasted. Serving staff friendly and helpful but need to concentrate on taking the correct order. Would we return - I think not.
