Thanet House Dental Surgery (Previously The Old Post Office Dental Surgery) was established in 1985. Since that time it has grown & provided care to nearly twenty thousand patients in the local community.

It is our aim to provide good quality dental care in a safe & friendly environment. Our team are fully trained in all aspects of your dental needs & have many years of experience.

Firstly I used to be a very nervous patient until I joined this surgery. They are all amazing. Parvin is so reassuring and helped me make the decision to have a root canal done with Tania. I went yesterday and it was a long treatment,  2 and a half hours, but it was completely pain free. Tania put me at ease straight away and explained everything she was doing. I'm so pleased i listened to Parvin. Adi has been so helpful  changing appointments for me too. I am so glad I joined this practice. Such a friendly but professional experience.

Hi, my Partner and I joined this lovely, clean and friendly practise last week, on the recommendation of my best friend and her family . We have not been disappointed . We have both been seen by a very empathetic Dentist called Chi Chi . What a very professional and competent Dentist she is . I went back again today for Further treatment and I am delighted with my care and service. My former Dentist retired, so I have been ‘shopping ‘around for a New one for a while now, and I am So glad I listened to my friend ! I am a very nervous dental patient and can only say this is a qualified practise that really seems to care . I must also add that the Receptionist who we first met was also very welcoming and re-assuring . So far we have been very happy, and Have no reasons to doubt going forward.

Only joined last year but have received excellent service sorted my teeth out realise now my previous dentist had not looked after me properly. I also registered my son and his children who were seen today and were treated lovely too. The dentist and staff and receptionists are so kind and helpful.

Took my children to the dentist. They were well looked after and the dentist was fun and friendly as well as giving my children tips on how to clean tough areas of their teeth. Highly recommend.

Justina the hygienist makes this surgery a pleasure to visit. She was gentle and thorough and kind. My first experience of her was perfect.  I recommend Justina highly.

Shocking. 111 advise me to register with them as the only local dentist accepting new NHS patients. I need emergency work done and am being refused an appointment despite being registered as I’m a new patient. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful.

Just had my second appointment and they have been nothing but friendly and hospitable. I'm one of those panicky patients and they look after me so well. Im very happy!

Been to this dentist 3 times now and everytime I've gone the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend going to them as they make you feel at ease.

I've been coming here for the last year and I can't fault the service. It's a clean and efficient practice with receptionists and doctors who put you at complete ease the moment you walk through the door. Special mention to Justina the hygienist who is exceptional. She's so gentle yet thorough with her cleans and offers excellent advice, clearly very experienced. Highly recommend this dental practice!

I’ve been coming to the same dental surgery since I was a child before they moved premises and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always friendly & helpful staff, knowledgable & great with anxious patients. Normally able to get a reasonable appointment that works for me. Clean, efficient & easy to access nearby car parks & public transport. Would highly recommend.
