Had a wonderful stay in our safari tent!! Was lovely and spacious with everything you need. Camp toilets and showers were absolutely spotless too! Bed was very comfy and everyone on site was extremely helpful and friendly

Only thing about if your disabled like me there's nothing for us.paths are not very good not many dropped kerbs. Cars parked half on paths have to go on the busy roads.apart from that camp site very clean and peaceful.

Great site for access to the many cycle trails around. Lovely shower /toilet block, very luxurious. Mansfield and Chesterfield and the Derbyshire Dales only a short drive away. Teversal heritage centre interesting about the mining community

Great facilities at this excellently run site, with a few nice walks nearby. On my two week tour I did not find a site as good as this one, lots of information, books and DVDs to loan. Decent sized hot showers with plenty of hooks and enough room to use with out getting your clothes wet. Recycling facilities for your rubbish are available. Spoilt me for other sites I visited.

No good for a wheelchair as all roadways gravel as well as pitches. Very tricky to work and dripping automatic tap. Staff more friendly and helpful than the owners, in my opinion.
