Love tesco and the club card prices make it more than worthwhile! I get super bad anxiety in supermarkets so tend to do alot of my shopping via click and collect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Theres never much of a wait either. The only thing I would suggest is fixing the fridge issues they have in summer and during heatwaves when alot of the fridges stop working. The toilets here tend to be clean and tidy and the cafe is okay too with reasonable pricing. On a whole I think tesco would benefit from letting you use clubcard plus' big shop online and not only in store.
The cafe at this branch of Tesco is excellent, nice food, clean, friendly staff and affordable. If I could review it separately from the actual store I would and I'd give them 4 stars. The manager was particularly friendly. However, the cafe is let down by the store. Sure it's big, sure lots of nice products, but not much to set it apart. The staff on the self checkouts are also rude. My husband is a foreign national and we went into the self checkouts the wrong way. I was trying to explain how this worked to my husband when a member of staff very rudely addressed me saying there was a queue over there. English and manners not being her strong point, I proceeded to tell her 'there was no reason to be rude, I'm a customer'. She then proceeded to backchat me mumbling and chuntering within earshot deliberately with her colleague. Whilst I appreciate the staff may not be paid high salaries, I as a customer expect to be addressed in a polite manner and not backchatted. This may seem petty, but you have to draw a line somewhere. I would happily patronise the cafe again, but not the store.
I've just read the rules about the car park and thought that Tesco would be above automatically fining evening shoppers.nThe one issue I have is about the availability of goods on the bottom shelves. I can pick up packets from the bottom shelf, but not when the remaining stock is at the back, I find it impossible to retrieve it.nPerhaps, stock controllers could issue instructions to the shop floor staff to move stock to the front.
The store has a good range of products, which is a positive. However, my overall experience with the business was mixed, and certain aspects did not meet my expectations. Because of this, I chose not to continue engaging with the store beyond shopping needs. That said, as a customer, the product selection is useful.
I had a really disappointing experience at Tesco. I only went in to pick up some bread, but the whole visit turned frustrating very quickly. When I asked a staff member about stock availability, they were unhelpful and seemed completely uninterested in assisting me.nnWhat made things worse was the feeling of being watched while shopping. It felt like staff were following me around as if I was doing something wrong, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. As a regular customer, that kind of treatment is unacceptable.nnOverall, the customer service was poor, the staff came across as rude and unbothered, and the experience left a very negative impression. I expected much better from such a well-known store.
