I have posted below review 5 months ago. Maybe someone from the surgery management has actually read it as things seemed to change since then. I have called them a few times and noticed positive change in the way calls are dealt with. Hopefully it will continue.... Whoever picks up the phone is at the reception should change the job, or be sent to phone calls handling workshop! Every phone call is a battle over something unrelated! When called to make GP appointment you are told there aren't any available... No question when you need it for, just "all appointments are usually gone by 8am". Only after arguing, I've managed to clarify it's about booking an appointment for the next available date (two weeks later...)! One simple question at the beginning of the conversation would save us time and unnecessary frustration! Another call few weeks later, another annoying conversation - "can you take me off loudspeaker?" , "you are not on loudspeaker". Straight after that, another battle over something else, before actually getting to the point you are calling for! Who is this woman??? Is she paid to piss people off, or to help with quite simple patients requests?

Every consultation it's like being there for the very first time. It feels like they don't know your case and can't remember your previous consultations. The doctor just want to discharge you asap, and eventually you have to tell him what you think it has to be done, otherwise it will be a "go home take this pain killer for two weeks and see how it goes" even if you have a chronic problem for nearly a year. Not sympathetic at all and not interested in doing any further investigation if your first exam comes up clear, even if your sysmptoms are persistant and are getting worse. The nurse that does consultation is much more helpful and interested that the actual doctor. The surgery is very busy, sometimes the next available appoitment is in two weeks time. One of the ladies at the reception/phone is quite rude. Had problems collecting repeated prescription that wasn't ready and printed for some reason. Definitely changing to a different GP, and good luck for those who are registered there and have more serious health problems.
