I went with a friend for breakfast or should I say brunch. I ordered halwa, puri and cholay along with an omelette. We also ordered lamb curry. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. We waited 15 minutes for our order. Desi chai also tasted yum. Will be going again
Plenty of seating, bit too close some of the tables and chairs. Place looks like it's been crammed with tables and chairs. Had mixed grill for two and 2 nann, plenty of food. Simples no fuss dining.
A nice spot in Harrow. I had the half chicken with chips. The chicken had good flavour but it was very dry so I had to put alot of sauce on my plate. A small issue I have is the way the chicken is cut, it makes it harder to eat because of all the bones along the entire half chicken. The paneer came fresh and tasted great, I really enjoyed it. The prices are really good for the quality and quantity you get. The chicken biryani is definitely my favourite dish so I highly recommend to try.
Loved this place and would visit again and again. Usually I am very skeptical in eating lamb dishes in restaurants as they often have that strong weird lamb smell. Here, we ordered Halim with much hesitance , Rotis , chicken seekh kababs and lamb tikka. Lamb tikka portion was small but the Halim's portion was good.Rotis were soft. My son absolutely loved the lamb tikka ,as it was not chewy and there was no smell. The Halim was just perfect and yummy. All the dishes were served super hot. Chicken seekh kababs were juicy and not so spicy. Just loved them. It was Saturday night and the restaurant was almost full but our order arrived on time. All in all a good restaurant and I would definitely go back again. Our bill was £26 something.
excellent delectable scrumptious food that was demolished alhamdullilah we went at 5:30pm and it was quiet but by the time we left at 6:30pm it got very busy. we went on a tuesday. you can also reserve spaces, i saw the table next to us was reserved for like 12 people. we ordered butter chicken, kebab roll and chicken tikka roll with two chips and boiled rice. also the saag cooked spinach dish is very nice, i always order it as takeaway with naan from taste of lahore! my favourite dish forever !
food was good but didn’t follow the note good service and clean and tidy very reasonable price and good portions size and very valuable for the money . Overall good
Along with the Taste of Lahore, we could really Feel the Lahore with the level of hygiene within this culinary industry. Upon arrival, we were ignored several times upon waiting to be seated, regardless of the fact that we had a reservation. Once we were seated, the table was not very sanitary. From count, we had to ask 3 times just to get the menu and in addition we had to remind the staff 6 times for the drinks missing from our order. The taste of the food was exceptional however portion sizes are very small. If the restaurant was busy, it is understandable, however they were fully staffed and not busy. I think the level of customer service really needs to be focused on at this restaurant.
Wow! Right up there with the best I have ever had! Amazing food and truly authentic. Has to be tasted to be believed! Staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Lovely family atmosphere. Very highly recommended. A gem of a restaurant and several sister restaurants not too far away. Thank you so much Taste of Lahore! Kid-friendliness: Very family and kid friendly.
Not disappointed at all. Meat boti/ kebab, lamb chops and chicken wings were the stars of the mixed grill platter. Good selection of dishes on the menu.Food: 4/5
The food was beyond awful and the waiter actually recommended this as being a speciality. It was not cooked properly as properly cooked karahi does not separate water from the masala. There was no salt in the food either. Servers who worked there clearly didn’t care and didn’t seem to be happy working either. I returned after at least 6-7 years later after a previous bad experience and safe to say - won’t be returning EVER.
