S.K.V.P is quite the gem in Harrow. Entering the place, you are already taken in by the atmosphere, from the decor to the music, it speaks of authenticity, but in a trendy way. The food is great, and for amazing prices at that. I had both a simple and special Dabeli, and they were both delicious. Of course I prefer the special one, a bit spicier, more filled with flavour, and the pomegranate and the peanuts sprinkled on top added both an extra layer of flavour and texture. I also had the Rose Falooda and it was very interesting, the cream used in it isn't really my cup of tea, but the rose milk and the noodles were really nice. I did order a portion of Jabeli as well, but they forgot about that in my order and I had to remind them again. Unfortunately after waiting that long I was also quite disappointed by it. It's not really bad, but it just felt too oily. I think oil and sweets don't work that well, but that's just a personal taste. The service wasn't the best, but they were extremely busy at the time, so I am willing to chuck it up to that. I would drop by again in the future and for anyone wondering it is for sure worth a try. 4.4
Best vadapav in London .... authentic Mumbai Street foods at this place. The service can be improved..but on the other side after having your foods...you will go directly in the streets of India...they also have many meal offer...they also have south Indian foods...in which they have unlimited breakfast in just 7.99£ .
Excellent showcasing of Mumbai street food in the UK. We travelled all the way from Aylesbury to eat at SKVP and they didn't disappoint. I loved the restaurant ambience. The decor is modern and vibrant. The restaurant was busy which says all about its popularity. We ordered the staple Misal pav and chat items like Ragda pattice and Dahi Batata Puri. Very delicious. And served in fancy Maharashtrian cookware. Just beautiful to see and tasty on the palate. We enjoyed our visit thoroughly. Well done, SKVP! We wish you even more success and may you enlarge your presence across the UK. A small observation - The service could be improved a bit more. Some attention to the water dispenser and sprucing up of the toilet area will enhance the look and feel of the place. Vegetarian options: It's a 100% vegetarian eatery, enough said!
Food is really delicious. It’s worth spending money at this place. It really takes care of your taste buds.
What a joke! Food was gone off. It wasn't fresh, ordered through uber so couldn't leave a review there so had to write here. This wasn't fresh. I have had this item before and it was brilliant. I could taste original flavours. However, this time it was totally opposite. It was at least 2 days old. Tasted like lemon was squeeze in the milk. Yuck. Will never ever order again. They should at least respect the customers health before sending gone off food. How hard is it supply what you have paid for!
Have been eating for years and love this place. Great tasting food for a reasonable price. Tasty Indian meals and snacks served quickly and served hot and fresh. I love the atmosphere inside it’s very relaxed and chilled. The decor is really nice and added to the young, cool vibe I get here. Perfect for family dinners as there is something for everyone on the menu. Perfect for a friends get together for an informal meal. I love the misal pav and dabeli. You get authentic Indian tastes for a really good price. The portions are average sized, the food is so yummy you could do with a bit more There’s some seating available inside. It’s first come first served I think. It’s mighty busy with online deliveries as well. It’s located on a high street. It if you’re lucky you can grab a parking space in the bays outside. There are a few buses that are in the area as well. I’ve been dining in and getting take away fro here for a while and I’ve never been disappointed in what I’ve ordered and got. Will continue to eat here again and again.
SHREE KRISHNA VADA PAV SKVP It is a hybrid of cafe and restaurant having in total 7 branches across UK. I have personally visited the Harrow and Ilford branch. SKVP is serving traditional Indian street food in london and tbh the taste resemble in its dishes. It has variety of India found weather its north indian or south indian. Best Things to order- In Quick Bites: • Vada Pav • Misal Pav • Onion Bhajiya • Papdi Chat • Ragda Pattice • Sev Puri Mains: • Pindi Chana • Palak Paneer • Dal Makhni Drinks: • Mango Lassi •Thumbs Up • Kokal Sharbat Dessert: • Gulab Jamun • Gajar Halwa Ambience 4/5 They have try to make a look of indian by making wall arts and photos and the music played in background is hindi songs aswell giving a realist view. Money 5/5 The SKVP is very pocket friendly and right amout of money charged for dishes, they even have combo meals that are worthy. Staff&Service 5/5 The staff is very cooperative and helpful in selecting dishes, they have guided me and my friends through every dished and they are well educated with the indigents used in dishes. Overall It was lovely experience and happy to visit SKVP, a very strong recommendation from my side to go and check this amazing restaurant out.
Have been visiting SKVP station road but sadly not enjoying their dishes anymore. We had ordered Chilli Paneer and it looked more like pickle with loads of oil. The Samosa chat was also loaded with tamarind paste
Ordered vadapav, parathas, theplas, paneer curry, dal makhani and pindi chana. For a party. The food was really good and everyone loved it. The paan was also very good and a star of the show. The service and friendliness was very heartening and just means they are here to do some good and sincere business and serve some nice Indian street food. Helped me plan out exact quantities, suggest alternatives, load the car and even dropped in a few extras. Great experience. I asked my guests if I should rate five stars and they were all fully supportive! A big well done to the staff, chef, cooks who do some tireless work so that we just pick the phone and order! And enjoy fun food. I also like the way the owners respond to a few other negative reviews. Sometimes problems may occur anywhere. Well done in taking some feedback and further improving. Thanks!
