Updated menu, the Tamarind Duck was a lovely new addition. Have been here a few times now, perfect for a quick bite to eat and a catch up with friends. You will get seated quickly and the food starts flowing pretty soon after you have ordered. The prices are very reasonable and you pay for what you get

Lovely food. Often visit during my lunch hour with colleagues and can be done under an hour. You are looking at £7 ish for lunch and a drink. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly. Does get busy over lunch so may be worth booking in advanced. My one downside is that in the winter upstairs is quite cold especially when in there for extended periods, otherwise visited at least once a month.

Been going to this place for years as the food and service are second to none! Plus it such good value for money. Its the best Thai food ive had outside of Thailand.

I’m not happy to write this review but I just had to as I feel that everyone needs to know. The food here is obviously great but the service, the ambience and the staff are rude, unprofessional and racist so if you’re just after food and don’t care about other things, this is your place. But if you like good service, stay far away from this place. They discriminate against the Asians by not giving them complimentary prawn crackers. I’ve observed this every single time (in my 50+ visits to this place). There’s always prawn crackers served to everyone who looks remotely non-asian but I’ve never been served complimentary prawn crackers and my asian friends have had the same experience. Another thing they create so much fuss over is chilli. Every time I ask for it, they don’t want to give me extra chilli or make an excuse that they’ve run out of it and one time when they did give it to me, they were upset that we almost finished it and said they’d charge us for it next time. Are you kidding me? Today I’d had enough and I confronted the owner/manager about the discrimination against serving prawn crackers (I don’t even eat prawn crackers as I’m allergic to shell fish but it’s about integrity for me) and she was like I charge for it but when I insisted she doesn’t, she’s like yeah, sometimes I give it for free. I know that is not true all. They are just racist and know that they need to keep the non-Asians happy as they may be their primary customers. Whatever. Funny thing is that when I scrolled down to read other people’s comments, the one star reviews are mostly by Asians. Enough said.
