We welcome you to our little corner of Istanbul in the heart of Little Chalfont.

Story

We welcome you to our little corner of Istanbul in the heart of Little Chalfont. Istanbul has been described as the capital of the world, a natural hub for many civilisations and our restaurant has quickly become a buzzing hub for the community to enjoy our wonderful dishes.

Our chefs have previously worked in Michelin star restaurants and have bought with them the high standards and skills required to create the unforgettable dishes we serve in Little Instanbul. Here we offer fresh, hot or cold meze starters which boast traditional flavours from across the Eastern Mediterranean to enjoy alongside our freshly baked home-made bread. Our delicious Mangal kebabs are home cooked to order on our traditional charcoal grill. To accompany your meal we have selected some of the owners' favourite Turkish wines, but if that's not to your taste we also offer the world famous Efes larger.

The open plan style of Little Istanbul lends itself to a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, a perfect setting for family and friends to enjoy a meal together.

Food was good, staff efficient and friendly, lighting was ambient despite it was a Friday evening and there were all walks of customers including families enjoying their meals. Funniest though rather loud birthday song for a party celebrating a birthday The grilled octopus and spinach stuffed portobello mushroom were delicious. So was the lamb musakka. Will visit again to try other dishes on the menu.
It was super expensive, 3 of us £110, food was a bit undercooked for me and a bit dry
First time for me and my partner eating here on Saturday 1 Dec . We were so impressed, how can anyone give this place bad reviews. Food was amazing, staff couldn't of done enough for us. Very friendly atmosphere . We really will be returning to this place. Thank you for a lovely night !!
We were a group of 22 people and were looked after so well. We ordered mixed mezes for starters, followed by a main course. We were all extremely happy with the food and the service. I ordered the king prawn dish and have to say, they were marinated so well and tasted great. The evening was finished off with some music and dancing. The restaurant is located in a very nice location and is nice, bright and spacious. A good evening was had by all.
This quite large Turkish restaurant provides good, traditional cusine in clean modern surroundings. For me it was a little sterile and would benefit from a little more atmosphere. Staff are both professional and friendly and happy to guide you through a quite extensive menu. The food was, on the whole, very good and everyone in our party was happy with their meals. Portion sizes are large and the quality of ingredients high. Disabled access is good and there is car park around 40 yards away. Would I visit again? Yes.
Very bad experience, food was normal, portions were small & cold,manager was extremely rude, he served us food after an hour & when my friend asked for salad, he said to her ' be patient' twice in such an insulting way & when we told him that he is rude instead of being apologetic , he argued by saying whats wrong in that, his staff was breaking glasses & plates everywhere around the costumers, we went there Valentine's dinner, but our evening was spoilt. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
Being a customer who was recommended to go here by a friend I am pleased to say that my decision to come here for a quiet lunch was a very good one. The food was of a very high quality as was the service. Also at the end there was a very nice gesture by giving us a complimentary desert which enhances the reasoning behind me coming back again.
Tasty food. Massive portions. If you are a couple you certainly don't need starters if you are going to order the sharing platter for 2. It's probably enough to feed 4 adults. They do offer a doggy bag so we had the left overs for lunch the next day.
Had a lovely meal here with my partner. The waiter was very attentive and even gave us 2 lots of a delicious Turkish bread because we liked it so much! Would definitely go back.
The restaurant underwent a change of ownership very recently. New ownership resulted in slight tweaks to the interiors and the menu. Food, in general is very good here. Service is friendly and courteous. Very clean and hygienic environment. More spacious and less crowded than an average restaurant. All of this comes with a slight premium in the price. Would definitely recommend.
