Had an unfortunate experience with this company. Wouldn’t refund me the carriage charge after selling me a car which was incorrectly described. They admitted the error however I had to pay to return the vehicle £900 in total. Not happy. The owner never spoke to me preferring to hide behind his part time car salesman and let him do all the dirty work. Gave me all this BS. Anyway to cut long story, took them to a small claims court and I won! I knew I would win because they breached the contract the moment they sold me the car incorrectly described. In the end, swift car sales had to pay out all the court fees as well as my losses so they lost out more then if just refunded me when I first asked them to. If they just were just decent people and respected their customers then this would never of happened. This was a true and factual account. Use them at your own risk.
Avoid avoid avoid. Paid deposit for a car 29th December told the car would be ready for 7th January. Phoned on the 6th to be told it needed a new cambelt and they would ring once ready. Phoned me on the 14th to say it was ready and I could collect only to find out they wanted me to pay for the car without the cambelt done and they would call me back to fix the cambelt, said I wasn't prepared to to buy a car with a big fault and I would collect when it was done, this cost me £45 in insurance to put my old car back on. I was also told it had passed its mot with no advisories but noticed a tyre was bald would never of passed mot when I pointed it out I was told "plenty if tread in the middle" would he if said that if I was a man!!!!! On numerous calls I was told "it's next to go in workshop" "should be ready in a few days". Finally got a call on 27th January saying they were taking the car off sale so I had to pay a further £35 in insurance!!! I was told they would refund my deposit and expenses which come to £280, they refunded £250!! Whist I appreciate I wasn't sold a faulty car although they tried to it's the lies, the broken promises, the condensing way I have been spoken to and the fact I'm out of pocket that I think is unprofessional and out of order!!!
First class service! Very honest dealer, we'll definitely be using them again in the future. The team have gone above and beyond getting to the root of the issue with our car and making sure we had a courtesy car while a few needed repairs were made to ours. They honoured their warranty and can definitely be trusted! We can't speak highly enough of swift cars.
Swapped a car for a car to say it had 3 months warranty for a load of things to go wrong with it. Took the car back 2 days after collecting to say parts had been ordered for me to wait over 2 months for nothing. They took the car for repair just to have it sat outside for a week. Upon collection of my car after being screwed over * The battery was stone dead to then be told to expect a call when the parts arrived because they were coming from Bangkok or some made up place only for the parts not to arrive at all and for me to in the end have to make pay for some very costly repairs One leaf spring and suspension arm Drivers side needed replacing after noticing upon collecting the vehicle that one tyre was 2 inches from the back of the wheel well. 2* Drivers door never locks 3* DPF Replacement 4* Full turbo and turbo boost hose replacement 5* Glow plugs 6*Fuel injectors 7* Alternator 8* Waterpump 9*Electrical Fault and Starter motor. *BELIEVE IT OR NOT* There's your catch phrase.
Great service, car been MOT and delivered to us with in 5 days, with no extra cost, and we have got a fair price for part exchange for our old car.
