Good selection of food that is reasonably priced, well presented, and of a good standard. Especially fond of their savers menu, which offers a selection of simple dishes for little more than £5, with some starters also available as a deal for an extra £3: these are great if you want a lunch that's not too heavy. Main menu items are also reasonably priced and to a very good standard. Place is tidy and a nice setting, has good parking, an excellent size beer garden, and a good selection of drinks. Recommend for families, party's, or dates.

Very pleasant country style pub with lots of room inside and very spacious garden. Particularly outstanding is the large selection of draught still ciders. Food is good quality, they have just updated the menu and there are some more adventurous dishes along with the usual fare, done well. It is very family friendly, and plenty of space and ample tables in the garden.

Disinterested slow staff, poor quality food that was over cooked with parts of my wife's dish missing. When they did eventually bring out the missing food after complaining it was lumpy and clearly microwaved. Ordered a pint of coke but was only served a half as I didn't want ice but charged for a pint. Menu looked good but they didn't have several standard main options (one of their problems in the past). Lovely building but won't be returning, recommend people look elsewhere if you want nice pub food.

Booked a family meal. Food arrived at the table instantly with no time to get drinks or even take coats off. Some of us was a little late due to bank holiday traffic but starters was put on the table regardless with no offer to keep warm. The main coarse was just as bad when it arrived. it was Luke warm at best. There was an offer to make amends with free teas or coffees which promptly arrived with the sweet menus for more orders. A total disgrace I wouldn't go back there if it was totally free. The only recommendation I can give is. Give it a wide birth.

Had a birthday meal here last night for 26 people,because of the size of our group we had to give our orders week before. This was great , everything came out promptly and hot with no mistakes. The lovely girls who waited on us were very good, totally un flustered all done with a cheery smile. Everyone had a great time and loved the food ( pork belly especially). Would definitely return . many thanks to all
