First time in pizza express and have to say it was lovely clean and food was great, staff were very friendly and helpful and everyone was so polite and seemed happy makes it a enjoyable experience

Lacking in several areas notably service standards and attention to detail. Having eaten here several times I have found the service to be consistently slow, especially if you are on a deadline for cinema etc. Attention to detail lacking with dirty cutlery on the table and our vegetarian guest being served a meat dish, the manager disnt even bother to come over to apologise leaving it to the poor young waiter. Several better places to eat nearby.

Service was slow as it was busy, but didn't feel like they had enough staff for an evening meal. Mains came out whilst we still had starters, then were sent back and just kept warm so when we did want them they were overcooked and dry. The waitress was very apologetic and gave us free dessert, hence the second star. Not a great experience and there are better places to have pizza in town

Booking was welcomed and staff were friendly. We sat upstairs which I regretted, it was cold and narrow and felt a little like sitting in a corridor. After our food turned up it warmed up and was more comfortable. The service was good and we were given plenty of time to make our selections, we used Saisbury's nectar point vouchers and the menu choices and additional charges were explained simply for us. We did't have to wait long for our order and the pizza was reasonable. I'd say if I was paying full price I would have been quite disappointed but the vouchers present such good value I'll be looking to go again.
