Suvai Aruvi meaning Tasty Waterfalls is a traditional Srilankan and South Indian cuisine established in 1995.

Story

This restaurant offers traditional Sri Lankan dishes like string hoppers, pittu and kothu roti alongside garden-variety rice-based curries and is well known for devilled dishes and biriyanis. It’s more of a takeaway with strip-lit tables than a restaurant, (the Tamil satellite TV blaring in the background is authentic, if not atmospheric). Kothu roti, strips of thin roti fried with mutton or vegetables is usually a safe bet, as are a range of snacks including our London's most famous mutton rolls. Suvai Aruvi's vegetarian Thali special on fridays is known for qaulity and quantity being able to feed 2 people at only £5. Being open since 1995 Suvai Aruvi is a very popular Srilankan restaurant with Kind Keen staff looking to ensure you have a pleasant meal and service. Drinks are not served but you may bring your own bottle.

I have ordered from from these guys a few times now and every time has been outstanding, authentic food. We are vegan and they customised our order and surprised us with a few new tasty dishes. 10/10

Top notch mutton rolls at bargain prices. The vadas are also great value. Love the masala vadas

Always on top of all the sri lanka restaurants in local area. They serve always tasty food and good service.
Tasty authentic Sri lankan and Indian food, great staff. Most foods can be very spicy so if you can handle it go for it. Their mutton rolls are one of the best tasting ones I have had. Again spicy but tasty. Enough meat and curry inside it.
