This pub was fine. Part of Green King group but the manager was a jerk so we stopped going.

Always go here when I am in the Lanes in Brighton. Good food, good beers.

A lot more open and light than it used to be, good location. Food on the other hand is questionable. My wife had a steak sandwich affair Which was very fatty, then again she only gave me two mouthfuls, one was nice, one was horrendous. She wasn't happy anyway but then again she only accepts the best, that's why she married me. Chef came out to bar very stressed and i know that feeling because I've been there myself. Maybe just unlucky on the food but probably not, who serves a steak sandwich and doesn't bother to cut off the fat? I will tell you, either a lazy chef of a pissed off chef, either way it's the fault of the management. I should know because i own a fast food establishment.
