Highly recommended gym. Thank you to Cyrus and the team for the warm welcome. I was on holiday in Filey and wanted to find a gym to use just for a week. Sunset accommodated this for me at a great price. Every time I went in there was a different member of staff but still as friendly as the last. Definitely made my holiday more manageable. Loads of machines and weights to choose from.
I love this gym. A good old fashioned, no nonsense gym. Full of free weights as well as some cables. Upstairs has a load of treadmills and rowing machines etc. Open 24/7 which makes life easy. Nice staff too.
Excellent gym with great facilities,no one is judged and everyone seems to help one another thoroughly enjoyed my time training here and the staff where exceptional...highly recommended to anyone bo matter what your skillset
Best gym in Scarborough by far massive range of equipment to fit whatever your goals may be, staff are all awesome atmosphere is unlike anywhere else feels like your part of one big crazy family ... Owner does love a dad joke though so be warned love ya really cyrus
Best gym in town brilliant staff very helpful and polite too
I have been a member of this gym for over 30 years. I have always loved the old school feeling and think this is one of the gyms great strengths. Absolutely everyone is made welcome no matter what your start point may be...newbie or hardened veteran. Vast array of free weights and machines. If you can't build the physique you desire here then you won't anywhere. Plenty of cardio equipment upstairs and even a climbing wall. Big plus point for those who work shifts or find it difficult to find time during "normal hours" is the 24/7 membership option. Owner, Cyrus, is friendly and approachable and an experienced person trainer. Free tea/coffee supplied in reception so you can socialise before or after workout. Best gym in Scarborough in my opinion.
Old school gym with a thoughtful vibe. You wouldn’t believe the amount of equipment fitted in this place! Some great pieces and the membership price is great. Open 24/7 too which means I can train despite antisocial work hours. I always feel welcome and involved yet never pestered. Quite the fan as you can tell but as a competitive bodybuilder it’s important for me to find a home in a gym and sunset has been perfect!
Little more old school than I'd usually like however all of the staff were so friendly and approachable and helped me with any problems I had. Had all the equipment needed and a special hip thrust machine I haven't seen at any other gym that I've used before which came in very handy, and it's the cheapest gym for students I could find in Scarborough which makes it even better! If you don't like the older school style then its probably not for you but for anyone else I highly recommend.
