SMC is fantastic. Mike is the best you could wish for to work on your bike. Incredibly honest, friendly and knowledgeable - he's done a great job on my BMW GS. Top bloke, top service.
My 1200RT is running perfectly again after its long sleep in 2020 and a full 24,000 mile service at SMC Ltd. Mechanic Mike found a couple of other issues and called me to discuss how to proceed with no pressure although I had no concerns trusting his expertise. Excellent service and very reasonably priced for BMWs. Will be a returning customer.
The service given at this dealership is second to none. Do not let the size of the operation put you off because the best things come in small packages. Tim in sales is a very genuine man with years of experience which he is only too glad to share. The sales experience was easy and enjoyable, I would have no problem or reservation in recommending this gem of a motorcycle dealership. You will not find pushy look down the nose salesperson’s here, just honest people making an honest living. Well done Lads - a refreshing change
Good to see Mike and Tim in business providing a very friendly and personal service. Had first rate service from Mike over the last week with a couple of things on my GSA at reasonable prices and the bike feels and sounds great now. Also purchased from Tim a nice looking pair of TCX X-Blend boots which I'd had my eye on for a while and happened to notice on Tim's shelf while I was waiting for the bike. Whilst they feel solid and well made, they were instantly comfortable. Rode to work in them then wore all day and could hardly feel they were there.
Delighted to make the journey up to see Stroud MCs and reconnect with both Mike and Tim there once again. As a former BVM customer from more than 10 years back I hadn't realised that these 2 seasoned professionals had established a new business. After a local dealer had been unable to offer a service appointment for my 12RT within a month, I thought I'd try Stroud MC. And was offered availability much more convenient to my circumstances and that was after having been able to speak with Mike in the workshop directly about what the work that I wanted doing. So, on arrival it was great to realise that actually both Mike and Tim were heading up this newer business - as I had dealt with them both previously at BVM and always has had positive interaction with them there. A cup of tea, chat about the current state of the bike market and work done at very, very reasonable prices. Great service chaps. Will definitely look to return for future service work and who knows, maybe a 'great spec used BM' when the time comes? It's the attention to detail, that makes these guys worth a call.
BMW specialists, great level of service. High quality repair and servicing by experienced staff. I live 50 miles away, but would not use anyone else for servicing my GS, which was bought from SMC. Highly recommended.
Excellent personal friendly service! A good selection of secondhand bikes for sale and Mike is a wizard in the workshop! Had a major service done on my KTM and it came back better than ever!!! Highly recommended!
Just brought a k1600 bmw of these fabulous guys,there so professional and very helpful and a great company to deal with,I certainly didn't mind the 3 hour drive to collect my mot'd fully serviced fabulous bike bug thankyou to Tim and Mike
