At last I've found an honest, reliable and expert mechanic.

Small workshop with tricky access, but don't let first appearances deceive you. What you have inside is a well-equipped workshop run by a mechanic who not only does the job you asked for but also spots and sometimes fixes things you didn't notice.

I've had Shaylor's service my old Volvo diesel and he kept that old shed going years longer than it really should have (certainly a better service than it received from the dealers). Now he's just made some improvements to my 10 year old Honda Civic and it's come out running like new.

Highly recommended for someone looking for an experienced mechanic who cares about cars but doesn't need the bells and whistles. Added bonus is that Shaylor's have never over-charged me and often saves me money through preventative care.

Very friendly, trustworthy and helpful garage. Proper old school engineering and mechanics, they know what they are on about instead of the useless modern garages that only know how to plug a computer in and start swapping out bits.

Dave Shaylor not only diagnosed my car within an hour, he had also fixed it! Since then I have had more work carried out by him and his work is 110% every time. He is fast to work on the car and very reasonably priced.

I would recommend this garage to anyone.

The people working in this garage are very friendly, very quick to respond to the car issue I had, without me chasing them up and not treating me as an idiot just because I am women (only including this as I had an experience with this from other garages) . I can only speak from a recent experience, where cambelt in my car broke, the guys gave me a fair quote and suggested that it is not worth a repair. Additionally, they did not charge me either for keeping my car in their place for over two weeks before I could sort out the scrap people to come or the work they put in. In summary very friendly approach and great service overall. I believe (from my friends recommendations) that this garage probably have enough work due to satisfied customers and people might not think about leaving a review, which is a shame because even though I live in Bristol I would try to have my car repairs there when possible.
