I recently purchased an e-cargo bike from Rothar. Steve and Freddie were really helpful and able to answer all my questions. They provided me with lots of information and gave me the opportunity to test ride the bike. I'm so happy with my purchase; it has literally transformed my life!!
I bought a cargo bike from Rothar using the cycle to work scheme. They were extremely helpful, answering all of the odd questions I had, and keeping me in the loop as the bike made its way across Eurpoe to get here. Just a spectacular bunch of folks, I can't recommend them enough.
Really lovely place, really lovely staff. They offered to order in a very specific accessory for me that would have been absolute hassle for a private buyer to purchase I'm talking 25€ shipping and 10-20% import fees and had it sorted for me in a week or so. Highly recommended business.
Highly recommend Steve, Freddy and the team at Rothar - fantastic service. In my experience a lot of bike shops in Ireland are focused on sports bikes but the guys at Rothar know what commuter and functional cyclists need. They were able to advise me on the best cargo bike for my needs and the pros and cons of the different options. Delighted with the new bike!

I recently purchased an Achielle Annette ebike from Rothar . Anne and Freddie were so helpful . I was impressed with the very prompt and informative reply to my initial email enquiry. I was encouraged to try the bike for myself before I committed to purchase which I was happy to do. I love my new bike. I would recommend Rothar for their knowledge , experience and helpfulness .
Purchased a bike from them back in February, left a 5 star review as they have very helpful in picking out a bike that suits my needs and have been using it every day since! I recently had to contact Rothar in regards to getting a replacement part for my bike. I was glad to see that they were super understanding and resolved my issue quickly and professionally. You can tell Rothar truly cares about their customers and I once again highly reccomend them for anyone interested as they still give the effort to support you after your initial bike purchase.
The bike shop feels personnal and not the massive chain ones where the items are sold like numbers on a list. I got the bike I wanted and everything was ready and perfect during collection, the shop was able to hold the bike for me since I do not live nearby came from Roscommon to get the bike there. Already recommended to my co-workers. Thanks a lot folks.
Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Always felt thy had my best interests, in choosing the right bike for my needs, at the centre of their commitment. Top quality product and it was set up in the shop,with me, for my riding style.
