What a little gem! Fantastically comfy seats which recline - really! Truly NOT just your average mainstream picture house, this place offers both autism friendly showings and dementia friendly showings.
Been twice recently, first time in Screen 1, which has super comfy reclining seats and most recently screen 2 that does not feature reclining seats but still comfy seats. Screen quality and audio is great in both screens. A place has a bar and also sells the usual film night treats. Not quite as classy as Everyman but prices reflect this. Good value cinema.
This cinema is a bit different from the other one in town, we are lucky to have both. The upstairs bar is great for a pre-movie drink and you can sit outside when the weather is nice. Staff are always helpful and the seats are comfy.
Really nice little cinema. We went on a Sunday and it was literally us and just a family. The seats were comfortable. The room was a little reflective and the screen is massive for a small room, but we liked it. The staff were really friendly and there is a cafe.
The screens are on the smaller side and the toilets aren't in a very convenient place if you are wanting to rush to get back into the film. However, the prices are great, seating is comfortable and overall its a nice place to watch a film without going over budget.
Over the years, I have gone to see loads of films at the Stratford-upon-Avon Picturehouse and it has always been a pleasure to visit! I have always loved it, as I have had many happy memories there. The Screen Rooms are great, the restaurant is friendly and warm and the foyer is always looking very stylish. I have never had a problem with any of my tickets or the staff, and every time I have gone to see a film, it has always been a very enjoyable experience for me and my family. The Picturehouse always has such a great selection of films on and they are my first choice, whenever I want to see something at the cinema. Highly recommend!
Small and friendly cinema. Staff are always welcoming and the bar is a good place to meet and grab a drink before going to see a film. Cinema shows the latest releases as well as a good selection of classic and arts related screenings. Comfortable, clean and a good venue.
Excellent dog friendly viewings with a blanket provided so your pup can sit on the seat! Nice bar area. Very comfy seats that recline slightly and really friendly staff.
Lovely little cinema with loads of character and run by people who seem the have a genuine passion for cinema. A charming adjoined bar with a 1st floor balcony adds to the appeal, as does being able to take your beer into the screen if you wish. Well worth a visit.
Love this cinema - it's a very welcome break from the soulless experience you get at the mainstream places. It's has a lovely little bar, a great selection of quirky snacks and sweets and its run by the nicest people you could wish to meet. The best place to watch the major movies and the less hyped movies you don't generally see in the large chain cinemas - perfect
