A medium sized shopping centre with shops on two levels. Mainly caters for every-day essential shopping. A multi-storey car park is adjacent to the shopping centre. Bootle New Strand rail station is about 50 metres away. There is a bus station at the rear and bus stops at the front on Stanley Road making it easy to get to on public transport.

The strand is OK, It has good shops and the parking is convenient but its usually packed on any day and i go to the argos in the strand a lot. The area around the strand is kind of sketchy, but its Bootle. There are a few bus stops around here which is good if you don't have a car or live around Bootle. I recommend.

Generally I love the strand. Grew up going there. I'm just gutted the pet shop moved. But there's loads of charity shops in there. An this new awesome shop called homes with style. It's like bright house but not a rip off! Definitely worth going in an having a look.

Could be so much better for disabled people. Why do both escalators only go up?, They've got enough space for escalators going to lower level. I actually witnessed one lady falling down the steps by Iceland. That's why I've only given 3 stars. Also during heavy rain, the roof leaks in a number of places, hence the black buckets. Visited on Saturday 14th April, there were 2 boys riding around on bikes doing wheelies on the lower floor, no security guards to stop them, dangerous if you walk out of corner where Wilko's used to be, as they were riding the bikes very fast.

Good location at the heart of Bootle but needs some investment. A lot of empty units which leaves it feeling like a bit of a relic. Here's hoping for some more big chains to get on board!
