This old shopping centte looks to be the only one of its kind in the area....not much variety, but when you need a holland and barrett which is not in the busy city centre,there it is. You might find difficult parking tho, a major disadvantage
I visited the Shoe zone to buy a pair of shoe during the black Friday sales. After that, I dropped in at the Greggs store to buy some pastries. Everything was available and the savories were hot too. Great service.
Very handy and big shopping center. You will find everything here, shoes, clothes, toys, accessories, electronics. Also the big supermarket is such as home bargain and BNM 1 pound shop.
I popped into the Strand Shopping Centre a few weeks ago and my first impression was how clean, tidy and welcoming the centre was. Even though I was in quite early in the day there were people wandering about the shops and going about their daily business.nnThe car park was also clean and I managed to bag myself a decent sized parking space and make my way inside. The public areas were all well lit and very clean, and the staff I came across were super helpful.
The size of this place just doesn't add up. The ground level size seems a hell of a lot smaller than the upper section. It seems to have endless jut-off areas with more shops. If we had got more time we would have explored more as when you come out of the shopping centre more shops appear. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area
