A few very good shops, restaurants and bars. The council could do with promoting it a bit more. especially as it has the new Shakespeare theatre. The businesses that are there would benefit from some additional publicity. Vist Prescott, it has more than a lovely theatre.
Very convenient place and some good shops but definitely could benefit from repairs and refurbishment.
Mainly bars and eateries, the adjacent shopping centre has killed off most of the independent business's, which is the state of virtually all British High streets nowadays.
Sadly, it's gone down hill.since I lived there.it used to be so busy with nice shops.now it's full of nail bars.
Love the high Street, has wonderful pubs, bistros, and restaurants. You can also pick up essentials and get your nails done in one trip. Nice summer evening spent sitting outside. They also do a lot of events for the kids to get involved in and to educate them on Shakespeare.
