A fantastic place to visit such a beautiful place, the grounds are immaculate & the building is amazing. The staff were great & had time to talk to you reference the history behind the building. The walk from the main gate is just over a mile & is uphill so be warned its hard on the legs but well worth the hike.
Entry is free to this beautiful estate and grounds, and it really is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are maintained beautifully and it's a lovely place to walk around especially the wooded areas, they are so peaceful. The estate is an impressive building and I can see why people travel to see it. It is dog friendly, it has a playground for children, picnic and bbq areas, outdoor gym equipment and toilet facilities. Me and my sister had the best day here and would recommend it as a place to visit if in Belfast.
What a walk and a view it is. It's hard to believe that it's the heart of Northern Ireland politics. The park surrounding is magnificent and there is a playground named after Mo Mowlam for the kiddies. Get on Glider 1 to east Belfast and you'll be on your way. Check out the surrounding neighborhood, it is nice.
Absolutely brilliant day out with my grandchildren.. lots for them to do.. the play park is fantastic.. lots of picnic benches for picnic or barbecue.. they even enjoyed the nature walk .. can't recommend it enough. ..
Booked the tour online for 11am last about 1hour, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable! Let us enter into a debate inside the chambers! Lots of cubes and tesseracts and 108's in the building! Blue floor..Sun rises turns sky blue and sea! Yellow torus pattern sun too!
Nice Park, note to Politicians in Stormont.. the drinking fountains that you set up are still not working..get a grip. It takes one call to 1 company to get the job done. You have enough money for art and green advertising and gala dinners so you must have a bit spare to fix up a few water drinking fountains..stop blaming the Rona.
The Estate is lovely to walk around, with woodland trails, whimsical carvings, impressive trees. Stormont parliament building: enter at the security point to the east of the main building. Tours are offered, but if you just miss one, you can self-guide with a provided map, which indicates portraits and informational panels about Northern Ireland history. On the ground floor also is a small cafe, with some gift-shop items for sale.
Beautiful grounds and a lovely place for a walk. Always enjoy coming here. Playground is great for the kids and the walk up to the building is wonderful.
A superb place to go for a walk. There are plenty of seating and picnic areas. So great possibility for taking photos of the beautiful gardens and spectacular view of sun sets.
Very nice park, with playground for the children, coffee shop and alot of space to sit and relax. Dogs are also welcome.
