I've had a poor experience with national hire chains in the past but was still a little hesitant to move away from the Enterprise / Hertz /Allied kind of rental firms. I needn't have worried at all - Steve's was helpful and responsive, and gave particular confidence when conducting the pre-check of the vehicle upon collection, highlighting some items that I had missed myself and  having been stung for a damage fee by another company years before, I really was looking!. I rarely bother giving reviews, but with a good value hire, a recent low-milage vehicle provided, great service and the ability to return the vehicle late into the night, I'm pleased to offer the full 5 stars, and am happy to recommend them to others.

Extremely friendly and efficient service, the particular Van that I hired, seemed to be, somewhat better than the vehicle I had been driving. Very highly recommended,if I could award 10 Star's, then I would have.

Great service but do remember to take your passport to speed up the paper work all in all Very good service with no hidden extras great

Hired a van twice in the last month and both times got an immaculate van with air-con and Apple CarPlay. Long motorway journeys were just like driving a car.

2nd time I have used this company in as many months. Excellent service, polite, friendly, helpful staff, cars have been very clean and tidy. As far as I can tell they are the most reasonably priced car hire company in the area. Many thanks

Hired a van from Steve's to move a load of IT equipment. They were really helpful as I have found before and when they didnt have a van they asked for 15 mins and called me back with one available. There wasnt any fuss, picked up the van, did what I needed to do over 4 days or so, handed it back and that was that. This is exactly how simple hiring a van should be. No fuss and good service.

Charged for fuel tank not full when collected an I filled to the brim took back an was charged when I challenge I was told I was wrong an the gauge was incorrect but I  filled to the brim an travel half a mile from pump to yard so not happy

Hired a van to take some of our daughter's belongings to Canterbury. Van was good, almost new. Prices are competitive and staff friendly and helpful.

Used this company 3 times now . They are always very professional and helpfull

Should be your first place to go for hiring a vehicle. Used Steve's numerous times and I highly recommend. Great value and service.
