Be very careful when using this company, they are a hire company they gives car hire firms a bad name!!! Hired a van for the weekend, came back with a very small scratch, which could have been t-cutted out, and they charged us £315. They also tried to deduct a further £160 for fuel, even though the van had been returned with a full tank. Will take our custom elsewhere next time.
Terrible service. I have now been let down twice. 1st incident involved a car being delivered to my home address 1 day late and after I had already left for my destination. 2nd incident was downgrading my booking from class C do B. 4 adults and luggage in a Vauxhall Corsa does not work. To make things worse I wasn't pre-warned so had no time to make alternative arrangements.
The tire pressures on the car were VERY wrong. 43 PSI on one wheel when the manual said 26 PSI. Be careful when picking up a car from this location. Otherwise service was ok, staff were friendly but the office is in need of refurbishment.
Straight forward and professional. Always a happy place to visit.
Nice helpful people didn't take long to pick up a car. Have got a weeks hire so hopefully will be as simple and straight forward when it comes to returns.

just spoke to Gillian at the Basildon branch said we could NOT hire an 8 seater vehicle on Friday 14.8.18 and return to the same venue the next morning!!!!!
We always rent from HERTZ and this branch is been the best one we ever dealt with Credit to Hertz
Because I only got a vivaro instead of a transit or a vito! Which would have been more comfortable on our journey!
An odd location, but served our needs for returning a one-way rental from Southampton.
