Absolutely ridiculous got stuck here after midnight and called the help desk. Told to open a lock box to take another coin out to have it double the price and say the machines are faulty and I’ll just have to pay them dispute it in the morning, also to be told there is no one to come help me as he got the days mixed up and there was no security on. As a young woman I felt this was dangerous especially considering he said it usually is a faulty paying system very stressful situation.
Handy location but disgusting customer service. We met some family members for drinks and returned to our vehicle. Its 2024 so we didnt have cash and the machines didn't work. We asked for help and the man at the site laughed at us and mocked us for our cards not working. Our cards work but the machines didnt I have never felt so humiliated. He also held onto our cards which is intimidating if you are two women alone. I had a bank note but was not accepted even though it was pound sterling from NI. The gentleman at the crowne plaza was lovely and gave us a new note but the parking attendant was intimidating and rude. I would never bring my car there again.

Parked here for concert at the arena. Many council parking is free after 7 this isn't. Main problem is lack of signage about payment methods and on the night we were there only the payment meter on the 10th floor was working, so we queued for 40 mins to pay as lots of people using one payment meter
Attended a concert at Boiler Shop, used this car park as it was the closest and easiest to get to. Spaces are a good size with ample room between cars. At the end of the concert returned with quite a few other concert goers to find chaos at the car park as the pay machines were not functioning properly. There are only 3 machines for a multi storey car park with 10 levels.nThe one card only pay machine was not functioning, the other two would only take coins, some people who used notes not only didn’t they get their parking paid, they didn’t get change or the notes back.nThe displayed helpline was contacted and offered no assistance, the one unfortunate security guard was trying to help but as most people didn’t have coins and expect to be able to pay contactless, he was dealing with more frustrated people.nEventually the security guard after telephoning someone allowed common sense to prevail and said he would raise the barrier to allow people to leave, about 30 minutes longer than they would have expected.nSo I would advise anyone considering using the car park to have coins to pay for the parking or perhaps the operators could introduce online payment services to prevent similar problems.
