Pros: Location - not bad but a lot better than trying to get into the middle of town. Price - fair and free after 5PM. Cons: Entrance is off a side-street, easy to miss if you are not a local. VERY tight and VERY thin spaces - do not attempt unless you are a confident driver/parker and willing to risk a 'door bash'. Stupid ratio of 'reserved' versus public spaces - you will drive past many many empty reserved spaced to try to find an empty public space.

Cheap all day parking. Near university. Easy access and exit. Not too crowded.

Really thin entrance and exit. I can navigate it easy enough but there are scrapes all over the walls where others haven't managed so well. The signage is rubbish and not particularly clear. As a disabled badge holder I parked in a disabled space and didn't know whether I had to pay or not so had to walk around the carpark to find the nearest ticket machine which turned out to be on the next floor down. There should be more signage near the disabled bays to make it clear badge holders don't need to pay. Not a good idea to have immobile people go for long walks or in some cases pushing their wheelchairs about to find out where they need to pay or even if they have to or not.

A good car park if you are visiting the Discovery Museum however most of the public places are on the higher levels and residents permit parking on the lower ones some very tight corners to get in and out would not like to do this in a big car plenty of paint on the walls from past damage at £1 per hour not to expensive for Town Centre parking

A word of warning if using Google Maps to get directions here; the entrance to the car park is through a tunnel off Waterloo Road, not where Google currently thinks it is! It is signposted from the a189. The tunnel is a tight squeeze if you have a larger car, and still an interesting prospect of you don't!
