Not far from the castle and the quayside. You could pay using an app although there is extra charge for this. At the time we went it was £1.50 an hour with free parking after 5pm. I didn't like you get about 10 spaces per level and then you have to go up so we ended on the 6th level but at least there is a lift.

It's not a bad car park, but it is quite expensive during the day as it is in the city centre. There is a bit of a steep hill whichever way you're walking. There tends to be a queue for parking spaces and they're occasionally full during the evening once the parking is free.

Park here on an evening because it's easy to get to and free after 5 or 6 but it's a bit tight on the bends and the spaces are quite close together. Also hit and miss whether you get a space. No chance if there is an event on in town. Expensive during the day.

I parked here free from 6 to 9:30 PM Saturday while I was enjoying the Railway Children at Theatre Royal Newcastle, which is very close to this car park.
