Staff are great friendly always polite. I have been using starbucks for 17 years love the coffee, You should try the classic oatmeal porridge with the pack of seeds its great.David

Staff attentive & pleasant. Generally meets expectations. Could do with some more low seatings/sofa & coffee tables arrangements. Would not like to think of Southend on Sea without a Starbucks.

Went there for a coffee and cake in morning to sit and have inside but they were givong everyone sitting in, their drinks in paper takeaway cups when there were hundreds of China cups there!! Realised after it was a con as they are now charging more if you buy coffee on takeaway cups so they conned you into paying the extra without you knowing. Costa from now on!!! I don't mind paying the extra for takeaway cups if I've ordered a takeaway drink but I hadn't, it was to drink in. Think it's appalling they deliberately conned their customers and I was a loyal customer that they have just lost!!!

Worst cup of hot chocolate I've had in a long while. And I had to wait 7 minutes for it. I've had better out of machines, like the one up at the Beecroft, for example.
