This is such a lovely place to come to on my day off. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is great. This has also been my go to place, for me to come and study. I get a lots of work done, cup of coffee and food. What else could your ask for!Food: 5/5
Lovely little cafe. Booking recommended as it isn't that big and got busy when we were there. Nice food, all presented nicely and reasonably priced. Bacon in particular tasted great. Lots of choices on the menu, from fruity choices to traditional breakfasts.
Used groupon deal. The place is so pretty and staff can do enough for you. Fab mum and daughter time. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Me and my partner come here to treat ourselves, lovely small cosy family vibe business, food is absolutely lovely the ‘new Yorker’ is certainly worth trying… prices are really competitive and food is on point.Food: 5/5
I’m a regular visitor to Leigh Broadway and the Lemon Witch has been my favourite for a while. Good menu choice, multiple vegan options, and dog friendly. Booking system is excellent. Love it.Food: 5/5
The food really was impressive with generous portion sizes. Peculiarly the fried chicken didn't appear fried - it reminded me of bird's-eye frozen breaded chicken ? The waffle was very flavoursome and light. The drinks were quite the creation and a delight. Very sensible prices.Food: 5/5
We had an amazing meal here today - the food was delicious and tasty, the service was great and the atmosphere was good as well. We loved all the different breakfast combos that they had and their milkshakes and pumpkin Spiced iced lattes were amazing as well! Would definitely recommend a visit, especially in the summer when you can sit outside in the sun! :
We decided to try lemon witch using the Groupon deal of 2 freak-shakes. The Groupon deal pricing itself is very cheap compared to the marked prices on their menu. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was absolutely packed. The interiors were yellow and lemony and looked nice. We tried the cake of day flavoured waffle and Oreo flavoured smores both large sized and they looked massive. My expectations were high however I must say that we were very disappointed with the shakes. The shakes were thin and watery. Probably they were made in a hurry due to the crowd. The service was too slow but that was understandable since the place was packed I have one more Groupon voucher which I need to use in a couple of months and hoping that the quality will Improve on my next visit.
Lemon Witch is a cosy little place with several tables available outside, should the weather permit. The menu is extensive and centres around all varieties of pancakes. I went for a dish called The Hulk, 3 American pancakes stacked with bacon, sausages, hash browns, two fried eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. The service is both friendly and prompt, my order arrived quickly and was nicely presented. I would certainly recommend Lemon Witch, I notice they do afternoon teas and also have a very reasonably priced bottomless brunch. UPDATE: On subsequent visits I have now tried their Biscoff Stack which was excellent and the Bottomless Brunch both vegan and regular which were delicious and great value. The staff are very accommodating and only too happy to help if you have any preferences or dietary requirements, and the restaurant is dog-friendly too. Well worth a visit.
The ambiance was great, the staff exceptionally informative, helpful and well trained. Service was very good and fast, the crepes delicious. They catered for vegan and gluten free. The place is spotlessly clean. Well done girls, what a pleasure it was to visit your workplace as I am from abroad and was not sure what to expect here. HINT: book a table in advace to ensure you have seats as they are popular and busy.
