Brilliant place to hire for music and choirs. The acoustics in the hall resonate, and hence, a beautiful tone is heard. There is a disabled wheelchair toilet downstairs, a lift to the second floor where a smaller room with a kitchen is available for higher too. The main toilets are upstairs unless going to the bar. The main hall downstairs is very well equipped with chairs and such. There is a large kitchen with a serving hatch. The only drawback is the parking. There are only 3 Disabled parking spaces, of which the middle space is too small for an estate car to park in. There is a large car park. However, it gets very full, very quickly, and doesn't accommodate the number of people that can fit in the hall.
Great place for an event have to arrive early to get a seat... only snag had to pay cash at the bar. Doesn't say anywhere in the advertising that it's cash only on arrival or at the bar. Brilliant rock n roll event would go again!
Useful hall for horncastle but rather run down and looks neglected inside I'm guessing there isn't any funding for sorting but a good lick paint on walls and skirtings and carpets would help. Also never really heated always rather cold the times I've been here
Excellent venue for small 8 - 16 and large 100+ meetings. Kitchen facilities also.
Brass band night. Good facilities with a bar
