A problem that has been going on 5 years is finally being looked at. The problem is, how it's being looked at is beyond shambolic! I now have a front lawn I can't mow cause there is rubble in the grass & I have workmen turning up, doing jobs without a written appointment or a phone call prior to them coming out & then they don't even flipping knock on my door to tell me what they are doing! I'm really fed up!

Impossible to get through on the phone to make an appointment. The phone just rang constantly for 10 minutes then I was cut off !! Phoned back immediately and the phone was engaged ! Just how many staff to answer the phone ? Even if there was an answerphone to let you know if you are in a queue???

You can't please everyone all the time, but they are trying to make improvements to the City. In such a large organisation you are always going to idiots, but don't tar them all with the same brush.

I am appalled at the changes being done in the City. The temporary bus station is not very user friendly and one has to walk around the block and up the old High Street to enter the City proper. The signage is none existent The closure of the road leading to the Railway Station is going to cause chaos. This closure is for eighteen months, that is 1/4 of the length of time of the second World War!. With the loss of hundreds of car parking spaces surely a Park and Ride scheme should have been implemented before the closure of so many car parks. When is some common sense going to be used in City planning? I feel it will be goodbye Lincoln and welcome to Newark Martyn Long September 1st 2016.
