Takes me back to the old days, a pub that's really not changed since it was built. Nowt fancy pleasant bar staff reasonably priced drinks. Just a good old pub.
If you like a REAL old school friendly pub not at all "WItherspoons"then this is the place for you they offer loyalty cards get it stamped when you get a pint they have family days in the summer the land Lord and family staff are cheerful and helpful pool,darts, Tv,and jukebox are available along with coffee,tea and soft drinks , if you don't like to shopwhy not drop your partner at Tesco have a tea or coffee then bring your partner back with you for a relaxing drink GO GIVE IT A TRY you will be glad you did!
Tossers got shut down for disobeying goovernment instructions and satying open during the lock down - good - home the landlords lose their licence and never get to run a pub again, hope it was worth it.
Very friendly place to relax and unwind ,always a good pint and served with a smile.
Fantastic, working class pub, use it or loose it, not many left now...
