Been with the surgery since I was 11 years old and become more reluctant to visit when something is wrong as the years have gone by. The only reason I have remained a patient is the nurse. Dread speaking to the GP's at the practice who try to psychoanalyse you rather than listen to what's going on, or tell you it's one thing when it's another. Very impersonal, patients are just a number. Gotten worse due to covid, felt like I was an annoyance on my last visit.
Hands down the worst GP surgery in Paisley. Even if any of the doctors were of any use you have absolutely no chance whatsoever of seeing them due to the fat troll on reception who thinks her job is to stop anyone seeing or speaking to a doctor which is utterly bizzare! She also handles the complaints it's unreal.
I've been going to this Doctor practice for over 2 years now and always thought going there was really uneasy. A couple of times I've wondered why the reception staff can be dry or not a nice way to be greeted, this morning I called to make a "same day appointment" as it's difficult to get a booking other than same day. I called and politely asked for an appointment in the afternoon as I was out connecting with family that I haven't really been there for. The woman on the phone was rude and I felt disrespected telling me I was to take 9.20am. I told the woman I couldn't make it as Anxiety about myself traps me at home and the only way I get out is when my partner can take me in his car. Being the nervous wreck I am I took the appointment but felt sour inside after the phonecall. I couldn't make it as all I could think of how disrespected I felt speaking to this woman. Husky voice I would know exactly who she was. Why have someone speak to people like that, especially In a doctor's where we should fell relaxed knowing were speaking to a doctor about our bodies. I'll be leaving this practice very soon.
This surgery was once one of the best in Paisley .. I have been a patient for 36 years and was always treated with the best of care and respect... NOT NOW!! The reception staff are down right diabolical.. No customer service skills whatsoever.. And as a metal health sufferer makes making an appointment far too stressful. RECEPTIONS WHO THINK IT'S OKAY TO PLAY GOD.. JUST SO YOU KNOW.. YOU ARE FAR FROM BEING DOCTORS THATS WHY YOU ARE BEHIND THE RECEPTION DESK.. Then theres the doctors that think its beneath themselves to give an injection.. " i've never done this before" is not a response you expect to hear from your qualified family doctor !!! Really really let down by this surgery. Also... The only reason Ive given a 1 star review is because it wont allow me to give a -5 which in my opinion is what they deserve... its definetley a SAD day when a life long patient is considering moving practice... :- :- :-
Very bad customer service from receiption and truly strange service from doctor. I don't know how long is allocated for each patients but really felt quite down after seeing the doctor as she didn't behave as a professional doctor. Badly looking forward to change the gp now.
Receptionist is extremely rude! The way she speaks to people is a disgrace. Terrible telephone manner.
Worst gp in paisley. reseption block every attempt to speek to a gp and have an im better than you complex !!!
