Absolutely horrible service, told to call at 8am to book appointment with zero answer until 9am only to be told that all appointments have been pre-booked months in advance. When asked if can book in advance told no need to phone at 8am next day to book appointment. Place is getting worse and the practice manager speaks to people in the most horrible and demeaning way. Unfortunately it is the only practice close to where I live so I just have to grit my teeth. If you can register for a different place then do so. This is nothing to do with the Gap's as they are fantastic, it is the practice manager and reception staff that make the place horrible
Good surgery. If I ‘phone them at 8 a.m. I can always get an appointment for that day. Doctors and other staff always pleasant and helpful.
Dr Mundell has been sure a huge support over the past year. I can’t say enough about her understanding , compassion and treatment at a time where I really needed it the most. I’m a generally healthy person so when I was most incapacitated she had appointments with me almost weekly and I’m now well on road to recovery. I truly appreciate everything she has done
This practice has done absolutely nothing to help my partner he ended up in intensive care in September last year 3 times we were told to expect the worst, fortunately he made it through but has had absolutely no checks from his own gp since leaving the hospital. Perhaps if his gp had been more on the ball he would of detected the cardiac enlargement which took his life on 24th November, subsiquently not one call from said gp to pass on condolences very poor service
My husband is registered in this practice and rarely visits. However, he is having issues with his leg swelling to the point he can't wear some trousers. Laughinly, he has a phone appointment, and to take a picture of his leg and by magic a diagnosis will be done??? An absolute joke, he could have a life threatening condition, if doctors can diagnos this with a picture and a phone call, good luck. In the meantime if this is more serious, you WILL hear from me as a severe concern. Concerned
Impossible to get an appointment. I had an ear infection…. They gave me spray, didnt help now I have a damaged ear as it was not treated properly…. They say they have no appointments, phone back the next morning at 8am. The next morning Im on tho phone from 8am until 11;40 when I finally manage to reach them and the answer is “call back the next day.” The dont care about their patients.
You book an appointment and they never call you. It's months that I have to call them to remind them that they are not calling for the appointments they scheduled. "We are very busy with the coronavirus" !!!! ???? They lie. First thing their automatic voice message at the beginning of the call says: "if you have symptoms call 111". You have to self isolate and ask for a PCR!!! >>>SO THEY ARE NOT SEEING ANY PATIENTS WITH CORONAVIRUS!!! A&E is busy because GPs don't see their patients. Really disappointed with the attitude of the reception and the doctors. They take you for a fool.
I went to the practice 10th September, I got an appointment for myself, but at the end I wanted to inform something about my daughter, because I am taking her to Asia, so I wanted to know what vaccine she needs before to go, but the doctor told me she had no idea, I can do the search by myself then tell them next time. Our flight it's in November, so I just leave it at that moment, then couple weeks later I finally got a friend know what exactly need. So I went to the GP again, but the recipient told me at least 6 weeks advance to book it, so it is too late they can't do anything. If in September the doctor who can tell me or help me find out what my daughter needs, I should have enough time to get vaccine for her. Otherwise she's a doctor but knows nothing, and didn't even try to help me find it out, let me do it by myself, that's ridiculous.
I am disgraced on my recent visit here. I am not a registerer patient to this practice but I was taking my neice to her appointment today who is still young enough for a pram, when approaching I noticed the steep stairs at the front entrance. My brother was also with me who suffers from cerebral palsy and uses a wheel chair so there was no way in me using the stair I phoned the reception to be told I could use the back entrance but when I got to the back I could not reach the back door as there were cars blocking this entrance when I discovered this I phoned reception and told them the problem for them to tell me "there were nothing they could do I would need to lift the pram and wheel chair over if I wanted to bring them in" so not wanting my neice to miss her appointment I had to take her in while my brother had to wait outside the practice in his chair while gettin soaked by the rain. I can't believe that medical professionals upstanding members of the public act in such a way. I will look forward to hearing back from yous on this matter.
So far, it's the best GP i have had in Glasgow. Doctors are helpful as much as they can. This is my first impression of course, hopefully it goes that way.
