I recently moved to the area and was very nervous about finding a GP who's reception staff weren't rude that's the norm these days I think. I decided go to with Kelburn and so far, every time I've spoken to the reception staff they've been absolutely lovely. A refreshing change from my previous practice where you had to go in with a riot shield. I think the reviews complaining about rude reception staff may be old, and it's possible that Kelburn have pruned these people as I've spoken to 2 different staff so far and they've both been really nice.
I have lost trust in this practise they have all the information about the patients health and what tablets they are on. But still they go against u when they are asked to help u with forms they are sent from pip.
One of the receptionist is very rude , and shouted at me once , I pointed it out to her and her voice softened. speak as you'd like to be to . She knows who she is !!!
Just changed practice recently and almost instantly Dr Gibson discovered a problem my other gp had never noticed I find all reception staff and drs extremely kind and helpful
Jane the receptionist has shocking people skills and to think most of the people she is speaking to in that manner are unwell is disgusting …. She should be sacked!!
It's not so much the doctors, as like most they are glorified pill pushers!! But the problem in there is the administration staff! More like guarddogs on permanent PMT!! They are the most nasty bad tempered people you will ever have the misfortune of speaking to!.....then if if you do have the cheek to make a complaint to the practice manager, then she will make it your fault! Even 1 if the girls in our pharmacy said she had never been spoken to as badly as she did by one of the receptionist
Been with this surgery almost 30years,Dr Crampsey my g.p. Just called to ask for medication review, did same 1 week ago,unfortunately missed Dr Galloway call within 2mins, called back & lovely receptionist Jenna advised my prescription would be faxed that day. Been to pharmacist & advised not so. Called surgery this morning to be met by obnoxious receptionist trying to tell me this is my fault... as a nurse who has worked in NHS for 38yrs & also a practice nurse for 20yrs im shocked to be treated like this, i have tried for a week to get GP medication review. This may seem petty but who the hell does this woman feel the power to treat any responsible adult like a no mark..
I cant say anything bad. My husband has had the best care since moving to here. Receptionist is lovely and so helpful.
I have found Jenna to be a lovely receptionist. Always so very pleasant and helpful. It makes such a difference when you call.
Twice this week I Have called my surgery and both times been spoken too like I'm a naughty child! Staff member comes on phone with attitude has no customer service skills what so ever! Totally unacceptable!
