This doctors surgery can be a tad hit and miss. Some appointments I've had have been lovely and I've left feeling supported with my issues but other times I've left feeling disappointed. One of my doctors appointments was given to the nurse instead because it was deemed not important enough for the doctor, when I asked the nurse about said other issues I was told I'd need to make a doctors appointment.... *facepalm*. They have the capabilities to make online appointments which is extremely handy but when it comes to emergency appointments the reception staff can be a tad unhelpful. The surgery also doesn't prescribe certain medications which when you have a chronic pain condition isn't good. The chemist that is attached to the surgery may be the reason as there tends to be quite a few addicts waiting outside for their methadone....

Avoid like the plague. Regularly kept waiting to be seen 20 mins after your appointment time. However a doctor will refuse to see you for being 10 minutes late due to roadworks on one occasion. That's if you can even get an appointment, no booking in advance is allowed you have to phone on the day at 8am to try and get an appointment. Receptionists are rude and will refuse to put you through for a phone call with a doctor unless you tell them what the problem is, not sure what's happened to patient confidentiality in this place. So bad that I'm changing doctors, would rate 0/5 if possible.

absolutely terrible, everytime I phone the reply I get is can't book you in advance you have to phone on the day!!!!!!!!!!!! so what happens if people work and have only got one specific date that they can make an appointment phone on the day and is fully booked so need to wait agin for a further week???????????? as this is my case and also why do the RECEPTIONISTS feel the need to question what I want an appointment for????? if I wanted to discuss my PRIVATE business with you over the phone you would be called a therapist and not a receptionist!!!!! you work for the surgery you are not a doctor!!!! I shouldn't have to explain why I need the doctor and then be told " if its only a prescription you need you need to fill in the form and drop it off" no sorry sweetheart my medication needs monitored by the doctor hence the reason why I asked to see the doctor, but AGAIN I SHOULD NOT have to explain myself to A RECEPTIONIST!!!! absolutely infuriates me!!!! Dr. Patel is an absolute angel he listens, gives advice and is never a problem for him to help in any way he can!!!! reason I gave this practice 1 star is purely on the customer service patients receive from the RECEPTIONISTS, who have suddenly got a medical degree overnight.
