We took a lovely stroll around the park and every 50 meters I would stop and take some more pictures, it was so beautiful and peaceful. We found some benches along the path and just sat down for a while, that is something I highly recommend. 10/10 go here, spend some time in nature and take deep breaths. Picnic area: It has ample space for a picnic
Huge park with lots of jogging groups, also has loads of animals on the waterfront too! We barely covered the south side of it while walking from the Big Ben to the Buckingham Palace will definitely look to return and enjoy the entire park again.
Pretty garden and nice area to walk around. I saw some great white pelicans which looked funny. Luscious greens and you can see a bunch of different known landmarks. It’s also very central in location and close to Westminster abbey and some other places.
Definitely worth the visit to enjoy natures harmony. Stroll at your own leisure and watch the wildlife take notice you while you do the same. A very good learning ground for young kids especially since most of the birds are used to seeing humans and are used to being chased with cameras. The squirrels too, make it to the edge of the fence and pose. One of the places NOT TO MISS while visiting London !
I always enjoy a walk through the park when it's a dry day. beautiful planting & pelicans, swans, ducks on the water & squirrels darting around. A sanctuary right in the centre of London.
This park is gorgeous, with plenty of greenery and is right next to Buckingham Palace. In the middle of the park is a lake, with a bridge that offers a view of Buckingham Palace on one side and Whitehall and the London Eye in the distance on the other. Inside the park, there’s a garden house and a fountain in the water. Worth a visit! Restrooms: There are plenty of restrooms around, but you’ll need to pay to use them. Dog-friendliness: There are plenty of dogs in the park, and the water areas are fenced off for safety. Picnic area: There are plenty of benches everywhere to sit, but tables are harder to find. However, the park has a café where you can go up to the top and enjoy a nice view.
This is a really nice park. The biggest attraction for me was the lake, which has a lot of wildlife. I love wildlife photography, and this was a great place to get some good photos. That aside, it's still a lovely place to visit with lots of paths and green space to spend time outdoors. It's well worth visiting and I'd highly recommend it.
Lovely park filled with friendly wildlife. Very relaxing to take a stroll and watch the ducks, swans, pelicans and squirrels
Large green space with plenty of shady areas to sit and rest along with many walking paths to wander about the park. The park also contains a large lake filled with ducks & geese with other birds sitting at the waters edge. During the summer there are many gardens filled with amazing flowers, just so beautiful Worth a walk through on you way around the city.
What a beautiful, peaceful park! It is so large and wonderful. It is the perfect place to just sit and rest or reflect. There are a lot of activities going on, but you can find a place to just have your space and enjoy. We found ourselves seeking the park out to rest while visiting the area. You can just find a shady spot and sit in the grass and take a nap. Would highly recommend for your picnic, visiting, napping, or other outdoor activities! We loved it and will be back when we get back to the area.
