It’s a big and beautiful park with a lot of green and open space, where you can take dogs, walk and run, as well as ride a bike. I thought the space was great. I loved it. To have a picnic and take children, I found the place perfect. The location of neighbouring is good. There’s a store of souvenirs and some place to eat.
Beautiful park ..very relaxing environment… Kids can go crazy and play where ever they want .. Run here and there Had two cafes in front and end of the park which was good … Really enjoyed with kids and family Restrooms: At one end of the park near Italian cafe Dog-friendliness: Lots of owners with the dogs … very big area for dogs to run and enjoy
We love to walk in Hyde Park when visiting London. It’s very dog friendly and there’s lots of wildlife to see, including grey squirrels and parakeets. There’s quite a few statues and follies and the Diana, Princess of Wales memorial fountain is lovely to visit.
Hyde Park is a fantastic place to visit, especially in the summer. The lake area is beautiful and perfect for boating or simply enjoying the sunshine. However, some parts of the park are not as well-maintained as they could be; the grass is not always trimmed, and the cleaning could be better. Despite these minor issues, it's still one of the best places to relax and soak up the sun in Central London.
The park is great and full of different wildlife. A great place to go for a long walk, a run or a cycle. Plenty of squirrels all throughout the park. Restrooms: There are restrooms that charge 20p for entry Dog-friendliness: Plenty of people walking dogs
I recently visited Hyde Park in London with my family, and it was a fantastic experience! The park is massive, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational activities. We spent the half of the day exploring its many attractions and were never bored. The boating on the Serpentine was a highlight—such a serene and picturesque experience. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the park's restaurants, which had a great variety of options to suit everyone. The ice cream stall was a hit with the kids, serving up delightful treats that kept us cool in the summer heat. The park's vast green spaces, beautiful gardens, and numerous walking paths make it an ideal spot for relaxation and leisure. Hyde Park truly has something for everyone, and we left with wonderful memories. Highly recommended for a family day out!
Hyde Park in central London is known for its large green spaces and the presence of squirrels and colorful parrots. It's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy nature and escape the city bustle. I'm really enjoying taking a walk around this place.
I visited only once and it was on a perfect day in spring. The park is absolutely beautiful. There were a lot of people there, but it was not very crowded. There are lots to see in this massive park and every angle is filled with lovely scenery. The only negatives I have is that you have to pay to use some of the restrooms, and there are also lounge chairs set up in some locations that also require you to pay to use them. Seems a bit cash grabby to me, but I didn't let it affect my opinion.
Title: Hyde Park: Timeless Beauty, But Could Use Some TLC Review: Hyde Park, a beloved sanctuary from London's urban chaos, rekindles cherished memories of my 1970s London life. The park's natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere are just as I remember, underscoring its rich historical significance that deserves our respect and admiration. The tranquil Round Pond, Long Water, and Serpentine offer a perfect setting for relaxation, but I was sad to see Speakers' Corner reduced to a refreshment stand. In the 1970s, it was a vibrant hub of ideas and lively debates. On a brighter note, the British Summer Time BST Hyde Park festival added energy, and Stevie Nicks' performance was a highlight. While some maintenance is overdue—like the fountains—Hyde Park still offers a peaceful retreat and a taste of history.
I loved Hyde Park. Sitting here in the middle of the park really made me think about everyone that had ever set foot in the park. The trees were so tall and old, so clearly there were so many people here before me and that was so reassuring. To know that so many people have enjoyed this park to the fullest. Picnic area: It is a lovely spot to picnic! We got snacks and sat there for a while, just enjoying the beautiful scenery.
