This homeless organisation are really helpful to me as a homeless person. They fed me my first cooked meal in weeks and gave me a friendly face to talk to. As a homeless woman I really appreciated the bag of clothes they gave me and the church service on a Sunday is really a godsend. Only issue was I got a cold from another homeless woman who sat next to me. I made a couple of good friends at the Crypt too. I just wish they'd give you something different to bangers and mash every single Sunday but at the same time I often haven't had a cooked meal in weeks so beggars cannot be choosers. I know my son would appreciate the emotional support from here.
1 Star so Never stay here avoid it as it's basically just full of coke & Herion addicts & when the rest of us are trying to sleep! During the night u can't cos of them especially banging the bathroom door's from basically throwing up after there coke & herion abuse so u basically can't sleep during the night 4 them & Makes u have to put your headphones in to avoid which means basically that u can never get any rest here!
Of all the Charities that I have supported this remains my #1. So important to help the homeless and those fallen on hard times. We all walk along or by nonchalantly, through life and past the Homeless in the streets until, out of the blue, something comes totally left field and knocks you off your feet. Lots of peeps caught like that. Please help them. Tx
When I was homeless 2 last year 2019 ago. That’s staff help me get council Ofer temporary flat rent until I was bids for waiting 6 month for got flat of me. I’m very happy. Thank you for support me. They’re know I am full deaf.
A place that people on the breadline and under go here for food and shelter. The crypt is lovely. The staff are all volunteers. They do really good work. Feed and clothe a d shelter the homeless and poor. Great passion from all who work there.
It's heart breaking that somewhere like this needs to exist, but alas. They do a great job, especially when it's all stacked against them. Homelessness in Leeds seems to be getting out of hand recently... Very modern inside and they appear to have utilised the space well. Staff know how to handle themselves and handle situations that get out of control.
Visited here while attending a conference. Lovely staff caring daily for the hungry and homeless. Showing God's love and grace while giving the gospel of Jesus and practical advice on housing and benefits.
Many years ago, I was a resident at the Crypt, & also went to some of the church services where clients from the Crypt were mixed in with the regular congregations, no airs & graces just honest Christian acceptance.
They assist the 'needy', for an Honest review; wait for my book, all is Not what it seems.... Regulaly overshadows St Anne's excellent non judgmental approach and Support to the homeless.
I've had to use this place 4 times before myself so I know how hard the staff work and how good the service is, I've also used the church and the people who work or help there are really nice.
