You never know what you'll find from day to day at this shop and it's certainly true that one mans junk is another mans treasure!!!!! If your dropping off something at the tip pop in you never know you might find something you never knew you needed.
Great charity shop, I buy dvds, books quizzes and games from there. Cheap n cheerful
Good little shop this. Love that they put it inside the recycling centre becauer I am mor likely to donate stuff that I might otherwise have thrown away. Take note other local authorities; this is a good model.
My favourite place to go for bargains. The prices are realistic for a charity shop. You could go everyday and find something new, the staff are constantly putting things onto the shop floor. Staff are friendly and helpful..always have a laugh and come away with some great finds.
Staff at this site need to be put on customer service training Mangers and staff who think the are above the rest THEY ARE RUDE. Amanda Julie Danny
You can find real bargains here. All items cost next to nothing and it's a mix of everything from used speakers to never used picture frames, beds, furniture. Random mix.
This is a great place! The staff are brilliant. So caring and I always enjoy a chat, although they're so busy! It's brilliant to see so much re cycling done and efforts returning to the local community. Such a worthwhile organisation. Always find a great bargain here. Something for everyone and great support for those on a budget making life that bit easier. Donations are always very gratefully and cheerfully received. Well done all of the team!
Great bargains, however the European lady needs to work on her customer service as soon as I found what I wanted she demanded the hanger I asked if I could look in a mirror she told me where the mirror would be, I went there but could not see a display mirror she repeated where it would be in an annoyed tone then said OH MY GOD! then came and showed me a mirror which was behind all the furniture on the floor, she could have just explained to me that its not a displayed store mirror in the first place instead of belittling me in front of others, I had obviously thought she meant a store mirror on display as she never mentioned that it's a furniture one that's hidden behind everything on the floor so just assumed it would be on display.
I literally found this place by mistake on Sunday and could have spent hours going through everything but it was close to closing time. Proper good old rummage shop with a vast assortment of items to look through Books, Furniture, Clothing, Electrical, Audio, Household, pretty much anything and everything.. I left with a bag full of really cool stuff for just a £5 .. This is definetly going to be my favourite place to check out on a weekend. Staff were super friendly and the place also sold refreshments...
Was served by the rudest woman on till. Young woman, wore glass, sounded European. As I loaded my items, she gave me a dirty look and with the clothes she snatched them abruptly out of my hand and said quite rudely DONT YOU WORRY ABOUT THE HANGERS but as she did that her nail caught my skin and scratched/grazed it. I asked for a large bag to put my items in, to which she just tutted and told me no you should have brought your own bags. And the car park is awful and tight. I usually go to Kirkstall and it is so much more better and friendly, obviously staff training is better there!! Avoid this one, will not be returning.
