Great for the price but comes with the proviso that machines will take months to be repaired, the car park is tiny so if there is a class on and youre not early then no gym for you. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room is cramped and the pool is not chlorinated so it's hard to tell how clean it is but you don't feel clean while in it. All that said its very hard to find a gym locally that even offers these facilities so in summary it's good but if I could afford Leisure World colchester or was willing to sign a year long contract with them I would go there instead

Used to be a regular monthly member but quit as multiple things are not working or is to a professional standard. Unprofessional, unreliable and inadequate massage service JNmassage. Gave one of my best friends a gift certificate for her birthday. She arrived a couple minutes late due to traffic and notified this but was told she had to add an amount to the treatment + the session was much shorter than indicated and promised. My friend was unsatisfied and we will not be using this massage service again. Car park is completely inadequate - 4 hour restriction parking stay for members. Non-members park frequently. Equipment is lacking, often broken, unable to be used and takes an extensive period to be repaired. AC is never working properly during summer but is full-on during winter. Very restricted membership rules.

As previous reviewers have pointed out- outdated equipments, swimming pool hygeine, lack of AC in the summer etc, poorly managed and some staff have no people skills at all. For £ 19.99/ month you probably won't find a gym and pool anywhere else but you will have to take into account of the above things. Recently signed up to a promotional offer and regret doing so, I will pay a bit more and join one of the 24/7 gyms elsewhere and never come back.

Need to update a lot of machine but even after taking over from L.A. fitness the place is clean and tidy. Classes are plentiful and swim,sauna and steam are all maintained to a good standard
