Came here for a spot of lunch one Saturday afternoon with our youngest son. He ordered sausage, chips and beans and we went for the ham, egg and chips and a burger and chips. The meal was satisfactory and did take a considerable amount of time to get to the table, even though it didn't appear to be that busy. The chips were frozen but cooked well. The burger was very nice but the ham was packet ham and not thick slices of real ham which was a shame. My son who isn't the best of eaters, was determined to finish his meal just to get the ice lolly that was promised on the kids menu but he didn't get one and left in tears. This was partly due to the fact that no member of staff was around when we were ready to leave and we felt pressured to leave our table when a large group of people came in.

We've been several times. Really friendly staff. Large menu choice. Fabulous breakfasts. Food is always cooked really well and we're always stuffed. Kitchen is in the middle of two seating areas so you can see your food being prepared or browse the many magazines, trains are a popular theme. If you are looking for good quality food, stop here and enjoy joy, then walk around the lovely town.

Breakfast was good had thick cut proper backon not the watery stuff good value would go there again
