Enjoyed my pot of tea and packet of cheese and onion crisps. Very impressed with the work ethic of the staff who were always busying around making sure the place was clean and tidy as well as serving customers.Service: 5/5
Went for a meal and really enjoyed it. Had a steak cooked to perfection medium rare my partner had ribs and she said they were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would go again.
All staff were so incredibly friendly & welcoming. The room was lovely, clean & bed was so spacious & comfy. The bathroom was clean & nicely styled. We also had dinner on site & the staff & food was absolutely lovely. We was there only for the one night we had a funeral to attend the next morning but we couldn’t get any taxis. Matthew the manager went above & beyond to call one of the local companies & managed to get us one which came really quickly & we made it on time for the funeral. We were so incredibly grateful for this. What a fab team. Highly recommend staying with these guys & if we return will definitely come back.
Great location room lovely bed massive part from breakfast was good Walkability: Stayed here as went to winding wheel theatre was 6 minutes walk to great location Food & drinks: Said b&b when booked but was a continental breakfast out in hallway bit disappointing about that but overall good
Wonderful location for exploring the city centre and a friendly welcome. Fabulous spacious room and lovely comfy bed. The bathroom was palatial! Great choice as well for the continental style breakfast. Wished we'd stayed more than the one nightRooms: 5/5
Had a great family meal here. The service was second to none, and the food was delicious. A well laid out comfortable environment. They also do breakfast I am told. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.Service: 5/5
I spent a few days here a couple of weeks back and I can't recommend highly enough. The room was a lot more spacious than I expected with a good breakfast included, but the real highlight was the staff and food in the restaurant. Exceptional service and amazing food for a great price and much quicker than you might expect from somewhere of that quality. If you're looking for a cheap little room to stay in whilst you enjoy the peaks there may be better alternatives, but if you're looking for somewhere that enhances your trip, this is the place for you.
Booked a room for business trip . Booked direct instead of booking .com . Unfortunately the business meeting was cancelled.We phoned to change the day , but this was not possible. A refund was not possible either. Also not possible to be credited for another date. Moral ..DONT BOOK here. Feel like I've been conned and swindled . And as you can see from the reply from the business, they're pitifully sarcastic and patronising. Great business ethic .
Fantastic food, great service, lovely atmosphere this is my favourite restaurant.Rooms: 5/5
